Basil Pesto

Ingredients
3 Cups (750 mL) Basil leaves, packed fresh
4 Garlic cloves, peeled
¾ Cup (180 mL) Parmesan cheese, grated
½ Cup (125 mL) Olive oil
¼ Cup (60 mL) Pine nuts other nuts or seeds of your choice (such as sunflower seeds or walnuts)
Directions
Combine basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and nuts in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend to a smooth paste.
