Eat Think Vote
It’s up to us to make food an election issue!

Eat Think Vote is a non-partisan* campaign, gathering community members from across Canada to speak with their federal candidates about food sovereignty, food security, and other food issues that matter to them.
*I.e. not biased towards a specific political party
In the upcoming Federal Election, Nourish Nova Scotia is working to ensure that youth across the province can share their voices in important policy decisions that affect them. Whether it’s writing a letter, speaking with other young people about their concerns, or holding an Eat Think Vote event, we want to support youth in sharing their voices about food issues that matter to them.
Join us for an in-person event!
In partnership with Imhotep's Legacy Academy, we will be hosting an Eat Think Vote event on Tuesday, April 22nd at Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (Dalhousie University). The event will bring youth and community members together to converse with the federal candidates in Halifax. Eat Think Vote is a non-partisan campaign with candidates from all parties invited to join the conversation.
What: A community event to meet your federal candidates and discuss the food systems issues that matter most to you. We eat together, we think about the food issues, then we vote in the federal election!
When: Tuesday, April 22nd from 6:00-7:30pm
Where: Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (Dalhousie University) – 1360 Barrington Street, Room J134. Main Level, Sexton Memorial Gymnasium Building.
No registration required, just drop in!
