We inspire and equip young people in Nova Scotia to learn about food and transform the food systems around them. We do this through food literacy programs, capacity building, and advocacy - across school and community settings.

Farm to School Snack
The Farm to School Snack Program brings fresh Nova Scotia produce into school snack time.
The Grow Eat Learn program provides support, mentorship and resources for youth-focused gardens and growing spaces in Nova Scotia. Growing projects range from food forests, to garden beds, to indoor hydroponics.
The Youth Food Leaders Program supports skills-development and leadership through food. Programs are co-designed with youth and partners across Nova Scotia.
We provide funding for youth-led and youth focused food initiatives across Nova Scotia. We also partner with Provincial and National organizations to share funding opportunities that align with our program areas.
As the youth programming partner for Devour! Food Film Fest, we host the Nourish Food and Film Challenge as part of the festival each year. School aged children and youth across Nova Scotia are invited to submit a short film about food.
