The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Coalition for Healthy School Food (NS-CHSF) brings together stakeholders from regions and sectors across Nova Scotia to engage in dialogue, share resources, and collaborate on collective advocacy towards the development of a pan-Canadian school food program that meets the diverse needs of Nova Scotia school communities based on the Coalition’s guiding principles.

#SpeakUp4SchoolFood in the Nova Scotia 2024 Election

The Nova Scotia Coalition for Healthy School Food has worked hard, alongside others, to advocate for the new Nova Scotia School Lunch Program! We are very pleased with this investment and the program's initial rollout! However, we also know enhancements must be made as this program evolves to ensure it reaches its full potential in both feeding students and bolstering our local food system. Here are some tools to help you advocate for these enhancements.
