Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community and support school food programs?

Nourish Your Roots 2021 is now underway and participating schools have begun promoting the farm-to-school fundraiser to their communities. There are several volunteer opportunities available at community pickup locations across Nova Scotia – all near participating schools!

This is an exciting opportunity to support Nourish Your Roots in a safe but hands-on way alongside others who care about healthy local food.

We have the following volunteer shifts available at various locations between September 28 and October 30. Follow the links below to sign up NOW and make a difference in your community.

  • Seaport Farmers’ Market (Parking Lot)

• Sipekne’katik: Sipekne’katik First Nation Community Recreation Centre

• Spryfield: Captain William Spry Library
