How to Buy a Nourish Your Roots Box
It’s easier than ever to support a school you care about through Nourish Your Roots!
Step 1: Go to shop.nourishns.ca
Step 2: Click on “Buy a Box” in the top navigation bar and select one of the available options:
Select “Search for a Pickup Location by County” to see available pickup locations within your county. On the next page, choose your county from the list.
Select “View All Pickup Locations” to see all available pickup locations in a list.
Tip:
Click on the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner of the screen to open the search bar. To find a specific pickup date, type in “MMDD” (month day) and hit Search. To find a location in your area, type in the area name and hit Search.
Example: Desired pickup date is October 8th.
Search for: “1008”Example: Desired pickup area is Dartmouth.
Search for: “Dartmouth”Remember that you can pick up a box at any location and support any school!
Example: A grandparent in Cape Breton can pick up their box at a location near them, but still choose to support their grandchild’s school in Yarmouth.
Step 3: Choose your desired pickup location, or choose Donate a Box if you would like to donate a box to a family in need—no pickup necessary! Nourish partners with community organizations like family resource centres and food banks to ensure that donated boxes are delivered where they are needed most.
Step 4: Once you have chosen a pickup location, select your desired pickup date, the school you wish to support, and the number of boxes you want to buy.
Step 5: Click “Add to Cart” and complete your order through our secure checkout.
Tip:
There are fees associated with online purchasing and delivering boxes into the community. You can help cover these fees to ensure that more funds go directly to your school’s food programs with this donation box on the checkout screen!
Step 6: Pick up your box at the chosen location & date and enjoy! Don’t forget to have your Order Confirmation email with you when you pick up your box.
