Start Date: May/June 2022

Location: Bedford, NS

Salary: $74,000 - $84,000

The Executive Director role at Nourish presents an opportunity to impact food environments focused on children and youth across Nova Scotia. Nourish is seeking an inspiring leader with non-profit experience to partner with the Board of Directors and lead the organization into its next chapter. The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organization—everything from program and planning through to human resource management and fund development. The ED accomplishes this through guiding and inspiring a team of talented employees and core volunteers. As the face of the organization both internally and externally, the ED is relationship focused, and skillful at nurturing and managing multi-stakeholder relationships that align with the mission and vision of Nourish. As an experienced collaborator, they engage partners and stakeholders to advance a healthy, just, and sustainable food system in Nova Scotia. The ED demonstrates strategic vision, thoughtful leadership, careful oversight, and a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the communities that Nourish Nova Scotia serves.
