Ingredients

2 Cups (500 mL) Spinach, washed

½ Cup (125 mL) Plain greek yogurt or dairy free alternative

1 Banana

1 Cup (250 mL) Frozen fruit

½ Cup (125 mL) Water, milk, milk alternative, or pasteurized egg whites*

*Pasteurized egg whites are sold in 500 mL or 1 litre cartons, and can be found in the egg aisle of your local grocery store.

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

  3. If your smoothie is too thick, thin it with a little extra water or milk.

Tip: Make it a smoothie bowl! Fill your favourite dish with the Green Monster and top with a serving of Cranberry Granola or an add-in like unsweetened shredded coconut, nuts or seeds.
