Ingredients

  • 1 Can (398 mL) Chickpeas
  • ¼ Cup (60 mL) Maple syrup
  • ½ Tbsp (7 mL) Tahini
  • ½ tsp (2.5 mL) Vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp (1.25 mL) Salt
  • ¼ Cup (60 mL) Unsweetened cocoa
  • 5 Tbsp (74 mL) Water or milk alternative (soy, almond or other)

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients. Add only 2 Tbsp water or milk alternative.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Add additional water or milk alternative 1 Tbsp at a time to create desired consistency.
