Breakfast Programs

Students come to school hungry for many reasons.

That’s why the breakfast programs in nearly 100% of Nova Scotia public schools are so vital. They provide young people with the nourishment they need to learn, have more energy, and not get distracted by hunger. Nourish Nova Scotia is committed to helping schools strengthen and grow their breakfast programs by advocating for enhancements, creating resources, and facilitating funding to support these programs.
