Reel Talk Wrap Up

On November 3rd Nourish and the Halifax Public Libraries hosted Reel Talk: Youth Food Through Film, a film screening, podcast taping and celebration of the top youth short-films submitted to the Nourish Food & Film Challenge as part of Devour! The Food Film Fest. This year’s challenge theme invited youth to share how food influences their health, community, school or environment and the youth delivered!

Thank you to the incredible filmmakers and youth hosting team, Devour! The Food Film Fest, Halifax Central Libraries and our Nourish board members.  Events like these are only successful due to the incredible volunteers who help make it happen- from the planning, set up, facilitation, booth hosts and the tear down, there’s a role for everyone.
