Communications Memorandum

On behalf of the Nourish NS Board of Directors, we would like to share that Lisa Roberts, Executive Director of Nourish NS, has announced her intention to run as a federal NDP candidate for Halifax-Needham. Lisa will complete her role at Nourish effective April 1, 2024. We extend a warm congratulations to Lisa on this news, with appreciation for her leadership efforts throughout her time with Nourish Nova Scotia, and well wishes for her future endeavours.

To support a smooth transition, the Board will begin the recruitment process for a new Executive Director in 2023 with the intention of beginning the onboarding process in the new year. We expect 2024 to be a busy year and look forward to supporting the work of the Nourish NS team to deepen and grow in partnership with schools and communities.
