Cranberry Granola

Ingredients

2 Cups (480 mL) Rolled Oats

½ Cup (120 mL) Liquid honey

½ Cup (120 mL) Flax meal (sub oat bran or wheat germ)

2 tsp 10 mL) Vanilla extract

1 tsp (5 mL) Cinnamon

¼ tsp (1.25 mL) Salt

¼ Cup (60 mL) Canola oil

1 Cup (240 mL) Dried cranberries, unsweetened

Optional: ½ Cup (120 mL) Seeds (such as pumpkin or sunflower)

 Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.

  2. In a medium bowl mix ingredients except cranberries and seeds (if using) together.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes. Pull from oven, mix and add in cranberries and seeds if using.

  4. Bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
